This was taken during the Boerne Dickens on Main Christmas parade on Hauptstrasse, right around Red Crest if I remember correctly. You can see the snowflake decoration around the streetlight in the background. The police cars were blocking off the end of the parade route, and I had plenty of time to take 30-second exposures.The cops were very nice, and although I didn't ask, a few of them saw me balancing the camera on a coffee cup and tried not to walk through the shot. They wanted to see it when I finished, and thought it was pretty cool.

MONTRÉAL - Un jeune homme a connu une fin très violente tard mercredi soir, dans Lanaudière, lorsque le véhicule qu'il conduisait a été fauché par un appareil agricole.

Vers 22h30, l'automobiliste âgé de 20 ans se déplaçait sur le chemin Saint-Philippe, à Saint-Roch-de-l'Achigan, alors que venait en sens inverse un camion qui tirait une citerne d'épandage.

Tout indique que les tiges de chaque côté de la citerne étaient encore déployées. L'une d'elles a violemment heurté le toit de l'automobile et son conducteur qui serait mort sur le coup.

Le conducteur du camion a quant à lui été conduit à un poste de police de la Sûreté du Québec pour y être interrogé. On ignore si les tiges étaient encore déployées par oubli de sa part ou par négligence.

Il est possible que le conducteur doive répondre à une accusation de négligence criminelle ayant causé la mort. (Collaboration Cogeco Nouvelles)
