This was taken during the Boerne Dickens on Main Christmas parade on Hauptstrasse, right around Red Crest if I remember correctly. You can see the snowflake decoration around the streetlight in the background. The police cars were blocking off the end of the parade route, and I had plenty of time to take 30-second exposures.The cops were very nice, and although I didn't ask, a few of them saw me balancing the camera on a coffee cup and tried not to walk through the shot. They wanted to see it when I finished, and thought it was pretty cool.

Une automobiliste a été amenée d'urgence à l'hôpital Sainte-Justine après avoir été gravement blessée lorsqu'elle est entrée en collision avec un autobus, tôt mardi matin, sur le pont Pie-IX.

La conductrice roulait en sens inverse sur la voie nord du pont pour une raison qu'on ignore toujours.

Cinq passagers de l'autobus de la Société de transport de Laval ont également été transportés à l'hôpital pour des blessures mineures.

Des tests seront effectués pour déterminer si la conductrice de 36 ans était en état d'ébriété ou sous l'influence de la drogue.

Le pont, qui enjambe la rivière des Prairies entre Laval et Montréal, a été fermé pendant plusieurs heures, en direction nord. Il a été rouvert vers 7 h.
