CHICAGO - La famille d'une jeune fille de 12 ans atteinte du cancer à Chicago affirme que la chanteuse Taylor Swift lui a passé un coup de fil pour discuter de musique, de la tournée et de la maladie.
Ed Beazley a précisé que la chanteuse avait parlé avec sa fille Emily pendant environ 10 minutes, mercredi.
Emily est atteinte d'un lymphome non hodgkinien. Les proches de la jeune fille demandaient depuis un moment à la chanteuse de l'appeler, par le biais des réseaux sociaux. Une vidéo montrant environ 200 enfants chanter des chansons de Taylor Swift et danser avait notamment été publiée.
La mère d'Emily, Nadia Beazley, raconte que sa fille a fait «le plus grand des sourires» et a sauté partout après l'appel de la chanteuse.
Elle ajoute que le gérant de Swift a offert à la famille des billets et la chance de rencontrer la chanteuse à son concert de Detroit, le 30 mai.
Plus tôt ce mois-ci, Taylor Swift a annoncé que sa mère était atteinte du cancer.
