À quoi auraient ressemblé Kristen Stewart et Anne Hathaway si elles avaient vécu au 19e siècle?

La photographe Victoria Will a pris une série de photos de célébrités au Festival du film Sundance 2014 qu'elle a transformées en portraits vintage des années 1860.

Kristen Stewart et Anne Hathaway, ainsi que «Dexter» (l'acteur Michael C. Hall), Elle Fanning, Diane Kruger, Rachel McAdams ont entre autres été les cobayes du projet de Victoria Will.

Le résultat est esthétique, mais aussi parfois étrange; les plans en noir et blanc, les flous et mises au point hors champ, donnent aux portraits des célébrités un look vintage authentique malgré leurs vêtements modernes.

Ces portraits étaient un vrai défi pour la photographe.

«Je suis fascinée par la lenteur du processus (de développement), la nature capricieuse de la chimie, et la beauté imprévisible de chaque résultat», a expliqué Victoria Will à Esquire.
