RUSSELL, Ont. - Une récompense de 500 $ est offerte pour une vache blanche et noire qui a été volée à une foire de Russell, en Ontario.

Daisy n'est pas une véritable vache, mais un bovin d'entraînement en fibre de verre utilisé afin d'expliquer aux enfants comment traire les vaches.

Son propriétaire, Jeff Robinson, des Fermes TileCroft, a indiqué que quelqu'un avait usurpé le spécimen de 55 kilogrammes durant la nuit de jeudi dernier.

M. Robinson a déclaré que deux étudiants l'avaient installée jeudi soir et qu'elle avait été portée disparue le lendemain matin.

Il a admis qu'il avait d'abord pensé que c'était une blague, mais la fouille effectuée pendant la foire est demeurée vaine.

M. Robinson a dit qu'il ne compte pas intenter des poursuites judiciaires si jamais Daisy lui est retournée.

La vache, conçue et fabriquée au New Hampshire, coûterait environ 7500 $ à remplacer.
