Kendrick Lamar, Adele, le Canadien the Weeknd et le groupe country Little Big Town font partie des artistes qui offriront une performance lors du gala de remise des prix de la musique américaine le lundi 15 février.
Avec 11 nominations, le rappeur Kendrick Lamar mène la course aux Grammys. Il pourrait d'ailleurs repartir avec le très convoité prix de l'album de l'année pour "To Pimp a Butterfly". Taylor Swift et the Weeknd le suivent de près avec sept mentions.
Un autre invité sur la scène de la cérémonie, le groupe Little Big Town, a reçu deux nominations: meilleur album country pour "Pain Killer" et meilleure performance country en duo ou en groupe pour "Girl Crush".
Quant à Adele et son troisième album "25", qui s'est écoulé à environ huit millions d'exemplaires depuis novembre, elle se qualifiera pour les nominations de 2017, puisqu'elle a lancé son opus après le 30 septembre 2015.
La cérémonie des prix de l'Académie nationale des arts et des sciences sera animée par LL Cool J et diffusée en direct du Staples Center de Los Angeles sur la chaîne CBS. Lionel Richie recevra un hommage spécial.
