Céline Dion aurait réduit le prix de vente de sa propriété de Jupiter Island de 10 millions $, rapporte le siteGossip Extra. Le prix passerait ainsi de 72,5 millions $ US à 62,5 millions $ US.

La mise en vente du domaine n’aurait pas généré les visites escomptées, mais le courtier immobilier du couple, le Montréalais Joseph Montanaro, explique que le prix initial de mise en vente couvrait tout juste les frais d’achat du terrain et de construction de la propriété.

Les courtiers du secteur notent quant à eux un ralentissement du marché immobilier de luxe, ce qui peut expliquer le manque d’intérêt envers la propriété.

Comme le contrat de la chanteuse à Las Vegas est étiré jusqu’en 2019, Céline Dion et René Angélil n’ont plus le temps de profiter de leur pied-à-terre à en Floride et souhaiteraient vendre le plus tôt possible.
