Il existe désormais une ressource en ligne gratuite qui permet aux voyageurs partout dans le monde de ne pas payer pour avoir accès à Internet dans les aéroports.

L’ingénieur en systèmes informatiques Anil Polat a créé une carte interactive qui révèle les mots de passe des réseaux Wi-Fi payants de centaines d’aéroports dans tous les continents de la planète.

M. Polat demande également l’aide du public afin de tenir sa carte le plus à jour possible.

«Je veux que vous voyagiez plus intelligemment», dit-il sur son blogue.

Depuis septembre 2016, WiFox, une application mobile développée par M. Polat, facilite l’accès à ces données sur votre cellulaire. Contrairement à la carte, par contre, elle est payante.

WiFox est disponible sur iOS et Android au prix de 1,99 $.
