HINTON, Alta. - La Gendarmerie royale du Canada (GRC) en Alberta recherche un individu ayant intentionnellement tiré avec une arme à feu sur un oléoduc de gaz naturel de l'entreprise Talisman Energy.

Ce corps de police a indiqué que le conduit en question a été visé à l'aide d'une carabine de gros calibre.

Il a précisé que le crime a été perpétré durant la fin de semaine à environ 60 km au nord de Hinton.

La GRC a ajouté qu'il y a eu une importante fuite avant que les mécanismes de sécurité n'entrent en action pour mettre un terme à l'écoulement du gaz naturel.

Elle a invité toute personne détenant de l'information à propos de ce dossier à se manifester dès que possible.
