LAC-MÉGANTIC, Qc - Les trains pourraient commencer à rouler à travers la ville de Lac-Mégantic dès la semaine prochaine.

Des travailleurs s'affairent à compléter un nouveau tronçon entre le parc industriel de la ville et le réseau ferroviaire menant à Montréal.

La municipalité entend exercer un droit de veto sur les produits qui vont y circuler.

Le 6 juillet dernier, le centre-ville de Lac-Mégantic a été dévasté par l'explosion de wagons contenant du pétrole de la compagnie Montréal, Maine & Atlantic.

Les déflagrations ont fait 47 morts, en plus de détruire plusieurs maisons et commerces.
