Un film biographique de plus sur Lance Armstrong. Après Cycle of Lies, produit par J.J. Abrams, et un second venant du studio Warner qui sera réalisé par Jay Roach, voici qu'un troisième film est en préparation sur la vie du cycliste américain.

Il sera tourné par le réalisateur britannique Stephen Frears (The Queen, Tamara Drewe). Lance Armstrong, lui, devrait être incarné par Ben Foster, 32 ans, acteur vu récemment dans des séries B (Le Flingueur, Contrebande).

Le film racontera la vie de l'Américain, de l'annonce de son cancer jusqu'à à l'été 2012, quand il s'est vu dépossédé de ses sept Tours de France après avoir été confondu officiellement pour dopage.
