LAVAL - Les Canadiens qui rêvent de visiter l'espace ont maintenant une nouvelle option.

L'agence de voyage québécoise Uniktour a signé une entente avec le constructeur Xcor Aerospace et la ligne aérienne spatiale Space Expedition pour offrir des vols suborbitaux.

Une entente semblable doit être conclue et annoncée dans les prochains jours à Toronto, afin d'offrir un service du même genre à l'ensemble des Canadiens.

Le président d'Uniktour, Philippe Bergeron, sera le premier Canadien à tenter l'expérience, en décembre prochain.

Il voyagera à bord de la navette Lynx Mark I, du constructeur Xcor. Celle-ci subit encore des tests actuellement.

L'entreprise britannique Virgin Galactic accepte les réservations pour des voyages dans l'espace depuis un certain temps, et elle espère y envoyer des touristes en 2014.
