Le typhon Karika a jusqu'à présent tué 24 personnes dans le centre du Viet Nam et quatre autres manquent à l'appel selon les autorités.

La province la plus dévastée par la tempête est Quang Binh où 18 personnes sont mortes.

Six personnes sont mortes dans trois provinces du centre du pays.

Les fortes pluies ont aussi submergé près de 125 000 maisons.

Dans les derniers jours, le typhon Karika a également tué deux personnes aux Philippines.
