Une collision entre une camionnette et une moto fait un mort à Saint-Ignace

This was taken during the Boerne Dickens on Main Christmas parade on Hauptstrasse, right around Red Crest if I remember correctly. You can see the snowflake decoration around the streetlight in the background. The police cars were blocking off the end of the parade route, and I had plenty of time to take 30-second exposures.The cops were very nice, and although I didn't ask, a few of them saw me balancing the camera on a coffee cup and tried not to walk through the shot. They wanted to see it when I finished, and thought it was pretty cool.

SAINT-IGNACE-DE-LOYOLA _ Un motocycliste a succombé à ses blessures samedi soir, quelques heures après avoir été admis à l'hôpital à la suite d'une collision avec une camionnette survenue en milieu après-midi à Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola, dans Lanaudière.

Selon la porte-parole de la Sûreté du Québec, Audrey-Anne Bilodeau, il est possible que le conducteur de la camionnette, qui a subi un choc nerveux, n'ait pas vu le motocycliste qui venait en sens inverse sur le rang Saint-Michel.

Un segment du rang a été fermé à la circulation pour permettre aux enquêteurs de faire leur travail.
