ALBUQUERQUE, États-Unis - Les autorités rapportent que des agents du Nouveau-Mexique ont répondu à un appel au sujet d'une entrée par effraction avant de se rendre compte que l'intrus en question était en fait un énorme serpent.

La police d'Albuquerque a raconté que des agents sont allés chercher le reptile après qu'une femme eut téléphoné au 911.

Les autorités croient que le serpent a rampé jusqu'à la maison de la dame, où il s'est probablement introduit par une porte ouverte.

L'animal a été libéré à l'extérieur, dans la ville. Personne n'a été blessé.
