This was taken during the Boerne Dickens on Main Christmas parade on Hauptstrasse, right around Red Crest if I remember correctly. You can see the snowflake decoration around the streetlight in the background. The police cars were blocking off the end of the parade route, and I had plenty of time to take 30-second exposures.The cops were very nice, and although I didn't ask, a few of them saw me balancing the camera on a coffee cup and tried not to walk through the shot. They wanted to see it when I finished, and thought it was pretty cool.

LAVAL, - Quinze personnes ont été arrêtées tard mercredi soir, à Laval, lors d'une perquisition policière visant à neutraliser les activités d'une maison de jeu illégale.

Au moins une de ces personnes devra faire face à des accusations criminelles.

La perquisition du Service de police de Laval a débuté vers 23h00 dans un local industriel de la rue Cunard. Elle a permis de saisir des éléments de preuve pour des manquements à Loi sur les infractions en matière de boissons alcooliques et à la Loi sur l’impôt du tabac.

Le Service de police de Laval travaille en partenariat avec les inspecteurs du ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux afin d’appliquer la loi.

Le projet policier appelé CADENAS, en cours depuis mai 2013, a vu le jour suite à des informations reçues du public. Le Service de police de Laval invite d'ailleurs la population à continuer de transmettre toute information sur ce type d’activité criminelle.
