HELSINKI - Nokia versera quelque 25 millions $ à son chef de la direction, Stephen Elop, lorsqu'il quittera l'entreprise pour retourner chez Microsoft.

La société finlandaise a précisé dans des documents réglementaires publiés jeudi que le montant comprenait le salaire de base de M. Elop et des primes d'environ 14,6 millions d'euros.

Cette annonce survient alors que Microsoft annonçait, plus tôt en septembre, son intention de racheter les activités de téléphones cellulaires de Nokia pour 7,2 milliards $ US. La transaction comprend en outre un portefeuille de brevets et de services.

M. Elop, qui avait quitté Microsoft en 2010 pour devenir le grand patron de Nokia, démissionnera de son poste pour devenir le vice-président exécutif de la division des appareils et des services de la société, avant de rejoindre Microsoft à la fermeture de l'acquisition.
