Le secrétaire d'État américain, John Kerry, a annoncé que les pourparlers de paix israélo-palestiniens pourraient reprendre la semaine prochaine.

D'Amman, en Jordanie, M. Kerry a indiqué être parvenu à un accord qui jette les bases d'une reprise des négociations. Il n'a cependant pas voulu donner les détails de cet accord, précisant toutefois que les bases d'une reprise du processus restaient à formaliser.

Il estime que si tout se passe comme prévu, des discussions initiales pourront reprendre bientôt à Washington entre Israéliens et Palestiniens.

C'est la sixième mission de John Kerry au Proche-Orient depuis sa nomination à la tête du département d'État en février dernier.
