CARACAS, 12 jan 2013 (AFP) - Le président vénézuélien Hugo Chavez, soigné à Cuba pour un cancer, réagit bien à son traitement et il n'est pas dans le coma comme l'affirment des informations circulant sur les réseaux sociaux, a déclaré dans un communiqué publié samedi Adan Chavez, frère du président.

Adan Chavez, qui est gouverneur de l'Etat de Barinas, dans le sud-ouest du Venezuela, a assuré que le président réagit "bien" au traitement qu'il subit actuellement à La Havane. Il a qualifié de "totalement fausses" des informations "dans lesquelles on déclare que le président est dans un état de coma et que la famille discute prétendument d'un débranchement des dispositifs qui le maintiennent en vie", indique le communiqué.
