Entre la promotion du dernier volet de Twilight, les points de presses et les questions sur l'infidélité de Kristen Stewart, le couple chéri s'est finalement querellé lors de son passage à Los Angeles.
Une source a mentionné à l'édition britannique de Grazia : « Kristen appréhendait grandement la première de Twilight dans les derniers mois. Quand le jour J est arrivé, c'était encore plus difficile qu'elle ne l'avait imaginé ».
En fait, il semblerait que la médiatisation autour du couple les tient en perpétuelle tension. « C'est trop pour eux », a affirmé la source.
Avant le tapis rouge, Robert Pattinsonaurait indiqué à Stewart, à la dernière minute, qu'il ne souhaitait pas l'accompagner pour les points de presse. Le ton a monté, et le couple a finalement explosé.
Pattinson ne voulait pas être en compagnie de sa copine. Ainsi, il s'est tenu à l'écart pendant toute cette soirée. Le ton n'était pas au badinage, et ils marchaient tous les deux sur des œufs.
Quant à l'actrice, avec cet aveu, son niveau de stress est monté en flèche. Elle craignait les critiques des fans, et la sécurité a donc été doublée afin qu'elle se sente en sécurité.
Une autre source a affirmé tout haut ce que les autres pensent tout bas : « Personne ne sait si leur relation se poursuivra au-delà de la promotion de Twilght. En ce moment, leur couple oscille comme les montagnes russes ».
