LOS ANGELES, 19 nov 2012 (AFP) - Le dernier opus de la saga "Twilight" a réalisé un joli carton pour sa sortie en se plaçant loin en tête du box-office nord-américain pour son premier week-end d'exploitation, selon les chiffres définitifs publiés lundi par Exhibitor Relations.
Ce "Chapitre 5: Révélation 2e partie" était très attendu par les fans et les affres de la vie de vampire auxquels l'ex-humaine Bella doit faire face ont beaucoup intéressé les adolescents, fous de cette série. Le film a ainsi récolté 141,1 millions de dollars pour son premier week-end.
James Bond et "Skyfall" ont également réussi une bonne fin de semaine même si l'espion éternel a perdu une place au classement. Il a toutefois réuni 41,1 millions de dollars de recettes pour un total de 160,9 millions depuis sa sortie le week-end passé.
Face à ces deux poids lourds "Lincoln" avec l'excellent Daniel Day-Lewis n'a pas fait sécession et s'est bien défendu, avec 21 millions de dollars de recettes (22,5 millions au total).
"Les Mondes de Ralph", un film d'animation des studios Disney, qui montre le personnage gaffeur et mal aimé d'un jeu vidéo tentant de devenir un héros, est quatrième du classement avec 18,6 millions de dollars (121,8 millions de dollars en trois semaines).
Il devance "Flight", qui ramasse 8,8 millions de dollars (61,5 millions au total) autour de Denzel Washington en pilote perturbé.
A la sixième place, le thriller "Argo" de Ben Affleck remporte encore 4 millions de dollars, portant ses recettes totales à 92 millions de dollars en cinq semaine d'exploitation.
Sorti il y a plus d'un mois, le film d'action français "Taken 2", écrit et produit par Luc Besson, prend la septième place avec 2,1 millions de dollars (134,7 millions de dollars depuis sa sortie).
"Jusqu'a mon dernier souffle", une comédie musicale indienne tout droit venue de Bollywood, est 8e pour sa première semaine sur les écrans avec 1,28 million de dollars de recettes, devant "The Hit Girls", une autre comédie musicale, américaine celle-là (1,26 million de dollars, 61,1 millions depuis sa sortie).
La comédie "Prof poids lourd", avec Salma Hayek, ferme le Top 10 avec 1,2 million de dollars (41 millions en six semaines).
