L'actrice Elisha Cuthbert et le capitaine des Maple Leafs de Toronto, Dion Phaneuf, convoleront en justes noces.

Le magazine spécialisé en célébrités People rapporte que le hockeyeur natif d'Edmonton a demandé la main de la comédienne de Calgary au cours du week-end. Elisha Cuthbert, qui a campé le personnage de Kim Bauer dans la série télévisée 24, a dit oui à l'athlète, selon la publication américaine.

Âgé de 27 ans, Dion Phaneuf s'est joint aux Maple Leafs de Toronto en 2010 après avoir porté l'uniforme des Flames de Calgary pendant plus de quatre saisons.

Elisha Cuthbert et Dion Phaneuf ont commencé à se fréquenter en 2008.
