MADONNA - A l'occasion du dernier concert de sa tournée, à Nice, Madonna a choisi de calmer la polémique qu'elle avait ouverte contre le FN, en renonçant mardi 21 août à apposer une croix gammée sur le visage de Marine Le Pen dans un clip diffusé au stade Charles-Ehrmann.

Vers 23h30, la vidéo litigieuse accompagnait toujours la chanson "Nobody knows me" et montrait toujours furtivement le visage de la présidente du FN, mais la croix gammée, sur son visage avait laissé place à un point d'interrogation. Quelques jours après la diffusion de ce clip, lors du premier concert de la tournée mondiale de Madonna à Tel-Aviv le 31 mai, Marine Le Pen avait prévenu que si la star "fai(sai)t ça en France, on l'attendra(it) au tournant".

Le 14 juillet, au Stade de France, l'artiste avait pourtant rediffusé le clip litigieux, entraînant le dépôt immédiat par l'intéressée d'une plainte pour injure. Le FN avait prévenu qu'en cas de récidive, il n'hésiterait pas à saisir la justice niçoise. "A ma connaissance, Madonna n'avait jamais changé un clip. C'est la preuve que nos arguments ont porté. C'est une excellente nouvelle", a réagi à l'issue du concert, Gaël Nofri, responsable à Nice du Rassemblement Bleu Marine. Dès jeudi soir, des militants frontistes de la Côte d'Azur avaient marqué leur désapprobation en recouvrant des affiches du concert de Madonna par d'autres de Marine Le Pen.

"Libérez les Pussy Riot!"

Pendant cette neuvième tournée mondiale, Madonna, qui a fêté jeudi ses 54 ans, doit donner plus de 80 spectacles dans une trentaine de pays, au Proche-Orient, en Europe et sur le continent américain. Ce "MDNA Tour" s'achèvera début 2013 en Australie où la star ne s'est pas produite depuis 20 ans.

"Libérez les Pussy Riot!" a clamé la "Madone" en plein concert, engageant la foule à marteler ce slogan tatoué sur ses bras. "Le vrai enjeu, c'est la liberté, et pas seulement pour les Pussy Riot", avait-elle lancé un peu plus tôt, en rappelant qu'elle donnait son "dernier show en Europe avant de mettre le cap sur l'Amérique". "J'ai vu des choses très effrayantes", de "l'intolérance", a-t-elle dit, avant d'appeler à défendre "la dignité humaine", car "chaque être humain mérite d'être traité à égalité".

"La politique, c'est pas pour ça qu'on est là"

Avant comme après le concert, les inconditionnels de Madonna ne montraient guère d'intérêt pour la polémique frontiste. "La politique, c'est pas pour ça qu'on est là. Nous, on vient pour le show", assurait en début de soirée Marco, 40 ans, fan de la "Madone" depuis l'âge de 11 ans.

"On a payé assez cher une place pour voir un spectacle, mais pas pour être confronté aux problèmes politiques. Ce n'est pas pendant le show qu'il faut faire ça! Je trouve ça déplorable", renchérissait Thomas, 34 ans, venu d'Avignon.

Cendrine, 45 ans, a beau être toute acquise à la "Material Girl" et "ne pas aimer Marine Le Pen", elle "n'aime pas du tout ce qu'a fait Madonna au Stade de France. (...) Elle a dérapé, quand on est une star, on n'a pas à faire ça, encore moins dans un pays étranger. (...) Il ne faut pas le refaire."

En dépit d'un show endiablé de près de deux heures, l'Américaine n'a pas fait stade comble. Quelques jours avant le concert, des billets étaient bradés sur internet, tandis que les Galeries Lafayette de Nice offraient deux places pour l'achat d'une carte de fidélité à 7 euros, soit la place à 3,50 euros! Comme révélé par France Bleu Azur, la production, pour remplir les gradins, a même remis à la Métropole niçoise (46 communes) 4.600 places, afin qu'elle organise un tirage au sort au profit de ses 12.000 employés.

The picture sleeve release of "Keep It Together" was extremely limited and is a major rarity. No videoclip was ever produced for "Keep It Together". However, some music channels used footage from the song's performance in the Blond Ambition Tour, which referenced A Clockwork Orange in its staging and featured an introductory verse from "Family Affair," by Sly & the Family Stone. MTV aired a Blond Ambition performance from the Houston concert that was repeated as a video for the song.
